I have always had the idea to create a new media marketing advisory for Humboldt County.  The “Spider” represents the ability to crawl the web with good content and the “bolt” is short for Humboldt, the region we want this spider to crawl.  In addition to using it for new media, I would also like to bring in a small group of professionals to speak about general topics like technology, consumerism, business, entrepreneurship, personal and business finance.  All of these topics through the point of view of a successful entrepreneur, an MBA in finance, an IT director and a lawyer.  I have the team, now I have the blog.
